About

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, researching the use of touch in psilocybin, MDMA, and ketamine therapies. I write and comment on related topics in a personal capacity.

Before starting my PhD, I worked for several years in domestic abuse and sexual assault intervention in Canberra, Australia. I also served as a research assistant for victim-survivor consultations related to Australia’s National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children, as well as for clinical trials investigating psilocybin and CBD as treatments for anorexia nervosa.

Prior to moving to Australia, I worked as an English-language editor for the press release bureau of the Vietnamese government. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada and studied economics and philosophy before shifting my focus to psychology.
